Chris Genuis is a marketing professional with a distinguished career in driving growth and innovation. As Vice President of Growth at William Thomas Digital (WTD), Chris has been instrumental in the company’s rapid ascent, earning recognition from the Globe and Mail as one of Canada’s fastest-growing companies and from Adweek as one of the fastest-growing agencies globally. WTD, a CRM and digital experience agency, is known for creating hyper-personalized, data-driven digital experiences for North America’s most notable brands, including Loblaw Companies Ltd., Rogers Communications, Four Seasons, Scene Plus, and Arc’teryx.
Chris’ leadership at WTD encompasses strategy development, client acquisition and consultation. He has been a driving force in transforming the agency into an industry leader, renowned for its ability to help brands forge intimate connections with their consumers through tailored, data-driven digital communication programs.
Before joining WTD, Chris served on the leadership team of a large Canadian-based multidisciplinary agency.
There, he not only owned one of the agency’s most impactful client portfolios but also led philanthropic efforts. Chris identified non-profits that aligned with the agency’s values and designed tailored support strategies to meet their specific mission and needs.
Chris holds a BComm in Marketing Management from Toronto Metropolitan University.
In addition to his professional achievements, Chris has dedicated time and expertise to Jake’s House, where he has volunteered for over four years. Through hands-on involvement in various volunteer positions at the annual Holiday party, Chris has direct experience helping Jake’s House families in need. Beyond volunteering, Chris has provided guidance on the development of Jake’s House’s technical ecosystem, supporting a future goal of enabling more effective tailored communications and improved donor management. Witnessing firsthand the positive impact Jake’s House has on families they support, Chris is deeply committed to extending its reach and amplifying its support.
