Valerie Mauti
Valerie attended the University of Guelph and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance. Upon graduating, she began working as a Financial Advisor with Freedom 55 Financial, where she assisted clients with their insurance needs as well as achieving their retirement and savings goals.
Joining BDO Canada in 2018 as a Senior Accountant, Valerie swiftly became a dedicated expert in auditing not-for-profit organizations and public sector entities. Fueled by her passion and expertise, she now serves as the Director of Finance at Jake’s House. In this pivotal role, Valerie seamlessly applies her extensive knowledge, guaranteeing sound financial stewardship for the organization and embodying a commitment to excellence.
Valerie obtained her CPA designation in 2022 and is a proud member of the professional guild.
When she is not working Valerie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, travelling, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Valerie also loves reading and playing baseball with her friends in their weekly league in Mississauga.
