Andrew Simon, Board Member, Jake’s House
Andrew Simon is a top communications agency executive, a talented creative guru, a genuine family man, and
an integral member of the Jake’s House board. Bringing great insight, strategy, clarity and compassion to team,
Andrew significantly contributes to promoting Jake’s House and to defining its vision, ultimately supporting the
charity’s community impact.
A graduate of the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Andrew is anything but the typical Chief Creative
Officer. His career spans North America, working at advertising agencies including JWT New York, Saatchi &
Saatchi Los Angeles and DDB Canada. In his nine years at DDB, the agency was named Agency of the Year an
unprecedented five times and Canada’s most creative agency six times. In his current role as Global Executive
Creative Director of Edelman, he has helped the firm win numerous international honours including multiple
Cannes Lions, Clios and One Show Pencils. Recognized as an industry leader, Andrew has been featured on
CBC’s The National, Metro Morning, Q, Global TV’s National News, TVO’s The Agenda with Steve Paikin, and
has been profiled by both the Globe & Mail and the Toronto Star. He is also the past president of the Advertising
& Design Club of Canada.
But for all of Andrew’s accomplishments and accolades, perhaps most impressive of all is his vast collection of
colourful shoes. Known internally as the Man with the Golden Shoes, Andrew truly is a brilliant addition to the
Jake’s House team.
