Joe Lu, Champion, Jake’s House Charitable Giving Cabinet
Joe Lu came from modest means. He graduated with a marketing diploma from Seneca college while working at Rogers Communications to pay for his way through school. He excelled in sales and saved up enough money after 5 years to buy his first property at the age of 24 years old. He was developing single family housing for 7 years before getting into commercial real estate 4 years ago. His company now has 25 exits and holdings with an estimated total appraised value of $40M.
Joe is also the founder of HUBL, a Toronto-based technology company that connects business professionals and entrepreneurs to each other. The app uses AR and AI to create a fun and valuable user experience.
In his time off he enjoys spending time with his family, being active and doing philanthropic work, including his role as a Jake’s House Charitable Giving Cabinet Champion.
