Rachel Mu

Rachel joined the Jake’s House community first as a volunteer in four workshops, where she discovered a profound connection with the families living with autism. Her journey in the non-profit sector started with a desire to find more meaningful work, blending her background in marketing with her studies in Statistics and Sociology. 

As the IT & Digital Projects Manager, she is currently involved in an exciting phase of our organization’s growth, working on establishing a partnership to develop a top-of-the line CRM system. This project is close to her heart, as it blends her expertise in technology and passion for the Jake’s House community to help create a system that truly resonates with the needs of the Jake’s House staff and families that we serve. 

Outside of work, Rachel is passionate about exploring different cultures through travel, language, art, and cuisine. Rachel speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka dialect, Japanese, and is currently learning French. At home, her cat Tommy keeps her entertained with his playful antics, especially his talent for sneaking food.
